East Colorado Springs Foreclosures for Sale

East Colorado Springs features quiet, mature neighborhoods with single family homes and quaint condos and townhomes that can produce great foreclosure deals. Prices for foreclosed condos and townhomes here range from 50K to 100K while single family homes can be found here in the 100's, typically for spacious 3-4 bedroom homes on large lots with lush foliage. 

In East Colorado Springs, there is a home for every situation. Some of the best foreclosure deals can be found in the Austin Estates neighborhood, which features many condos and townhomes as well as quaint and cozy homes built primarily in the 50's and 60's. The Citadel Mall is located to the south, and numerous shopping centers line Academy Blvd, the main thoroughfare through the area. 

There are many great city parks throughout East Colorado Springs neighborhoods, but the crown jewel is Palmer Park, an oasis of outdoor recreation right in the middle of the city. The park offers miles of some of the best hiking and mountain biking trails in the region, horseback riding, two dog parks, playing fields, a playground and scenic picnic grounds among sandstone monoliths. 

Many military families find great foreclosure deals in East Colorado Springs as well. Peterson AFB is just a few minutes to the southeast and is easily accessible from Austin Estates, Rustic Hills and Village Seven. Fort Carson is not too far away either, just about a fifteen minute drive south on Academy. 

East Colorado Springs is encompassed by School District 11; which is the largest district in the area. D11 offers parents and students more choices than any other school district in the region and the only Public Montessori program for elementary age students. 80% of graduating students here go on to college and receive over $15 million in scholarships. Many of the students here attend Mitchell and Doherty high schools, middle schools include Irving, Mann, Sabin and Russell.

With its great foreclosure deals, plenty of shopping, dining and entertainment, as well as great parks and proximity to military bases, not to mention great schools, East Colorado Springs is a great place to consider.
